Studying with Tendai Lotus Teachings...
The material presented on these pages is merely a glance inside the expansive wonder of what is called Tendai Buddhism. To investigate deeper requires a greater commitment on the part of the seeker. For some this entails regular study with a group of Tendai practitioners. For others, it means more advanced study as a personal disciple (deshi) of a lineage teacher.
Currently, plans are underway for an organized training program to be instilled within the West in order to transmit the essence of the Tendai Lotus Teachings. This program will undoubtedly cover the spectrum of available Tendai teachings from meditative disciplines to advanced esoteric practices.
