Tendai Lotus Teachings (TLT www.tendai-lotus.org) is predicated on the historical teachings of Japanese Tendai Buddhism and tempered with the pragmatism and spiritual hunger found in the West. As such, TLT is the distillation of over 15 years of spiritual investigation, interpretation and consistent practice.
Several of our supporters operate satellite operations in their own local regions. This allows TLT a wide reach, much wider in fact than most centrally-operated, domestic "Dharma Centers" can reach. Should a local satellite be close by, have a look and get involved.
If you find though that like the majority of people, you're either far removed from a local group or simply dissatisfied with the un-empowered training and learning opportunities close to you, TLT offers a variety of outreach programs designed to support the independent and ardent spiritual aspirant. Tendai Lotus Teachings was founded in Japan in the late 1990's as an outreach program for Tendai Buddhism. Its members span the globe and enjoy the wealth of translated and distilled transformation teachings.
